CHS Scholarships
The College of Humanities and Sciences scholarship awards are established by alumni, individuals and organizations, and recognize factors such as specific majors, financial need, academic achievement, service and leadership. These scholarships are a form of financial aid that does not need to be repaid.
Experiential Learning Scholarships
The College of Humanities and Sciences offers several scholarships that provides financial support for students participating in experiential learning opportunities. Awards up to $5,000 will support these types of experiential learning activities. Applicants for these funds must be full-time undergraduate rising juniors or seniors, in good academic standing, and be primary majors in the College of Humanities and Sciences.
CHS Emergency Fund
The CHS Emergency Fund is a one-time financial assistance fund created to assist full-time students with unexpected emergency expenses that may derail their progress towards a degree (i.e. textbooks, materials and living costs). The CHS Emergency Fund is designated to offset a short-term financial need and is not intended to replace or supplement financial aid.
Students may apply for funding via the RAMS Scholarship Hub.
Please note, submitting a CHS Emergency Fund application does not guarantee approval. All submissions MUST include official documentation of the emergency circumstance and official documentation of the expenses you are requesting funds for as outlined in your statement of explanation. Submissions without documentation will be automatically denied.
